Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew” and more stars from a galaxy far, far away. The holographic circus that entertains Neil’s little brothers is the same one Chewbacca’s family sees in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).
The first 2 episodes don’t break new ground, nor are they very original, but that’s not a problem, as it does everything well
Since I know there will be a lot of hate directed at this show due to the ups and downs of the last Star Wars, I’m happy to say that’s a plus. So far… The cast and their performances are great, the costumes and set design are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the script, especially the funny banter between the kids, was good.
It’s giving me strong Treasure Planet vibes
Again, nothing new, but intriguing nonetheless, and I’m excited to keep watching it. As someone who hasn’t enjoyed the recent Star Wars, I was pleasantly surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone who’s even mildly interested or even annoyed by the recent shows will give it a shot.
